A little 30 in 30 update

We are halfway into January 2017, and halfway through the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. So lets look back and see what's happened so far!

One of my favorite things about this project is the research. I have never been able to paint without a reason, and each of the portraits I do I feel deserve to be painted. I spend the day listening, watching, and reading biographies and documentaries about each subject. So far we have actors, writers, activists, musicians, humanitarians, and visionaries that have helped to cultivate our world.
