Things I'll keep in 2017

​I wanted to take some time and share with you some stuff that I'm really loving online. Our digital lives can easily get cluttered, and I often find myself unsubscribing and deleting more than I'm reading. I wanted to show you some of the things I'm holding on to! Read more......

​1. Podcasts: There are an endless amount of things you can listen to out there on virtually every subject. For me the one that I never miss is The Jealous Curator. ​2. Facebook: With all the options out there for groups to join and people to talk to, I have found a wonderful community for Artist who want to concentrate on growing and improving their art business. Catherine Orer has created The Artist Entrepreneur Network where each week we discuss goals, talk about success and failure, and share what we learn to help each other grow. It has become an invaluable resource to me in growing my own art career.

​3. Pinterest: Pinterest have been an incredible resource for me. Everyone uses it differently so I'll let you in on the way that I use it. When I first discovered pinterest was when I was first focusing on starting my art practice again. I would scroll through and pin everything I loved about art. When I finally looked back on what I was pinning I understood what I loved about art. I had organized my thoughts and dreams, and they were there spelled out in front of me. Now I use it to not only collect inspirations but also techniques I want to try, business ideas, blog and social tips, and anything else that I want to cultivate. It has become something I really enjoy. A way to visually organize my thoughts.
