You're getting your art on my politics man!

Art in it's purest form is an interpretation of feeling by the artist. It comes in many forms whether it be a song, dance, poem, action, or piece you can hang on your wall. Today I want to take a look at art that is meant to challenge a way of thinking.....
Picture
For centuries artists have spoken their mind through their talent. For many artists it's the only way we know how to get our message across. We all have different views, and sometimes words just don't do the trick. Political or activist art is designed to get your attention. The artist wants you to react. After all reaction is a form of conversation. It means you paid attention if only to be upset or have your points of view challenged. It means that there was an impression made, and maybe you will sit and think about it. Here I have collected some examples that I feel fit the bill.

How did those make you feel? Could you see what the artist was trying to say? Did any of them challenge your point of view, or stop and make you think? Leave a comment down below and let me know.
That's all for today. Thanks for joining me and as always, stay living creative!
